I have the 4 and the 5.5 Modern daps easily best them imho.

Point being, (imho) the Ipod sound is crud to start with, and some (5-6) years later, there are far, far better choices for a source. He's great phones anyways so I'd just change up the player.

They look fake. The L/R isn't blue, it'sgrey, the mesh looks far too rough and the seem on the nozzle sphere is too pronounced. Also they look to shiny. Bloody good copy tho'

Take a hi-res pic of the drivers without the tips and i will compare them to mine.   They do look quite convincing....
