No DAC here. I doubt I'll go portable anytime soon. Going to connect the amp str8 to my PC. I have a high end motherboard and I don't hear any noise when I connect my headphones to it.- DADDYDC650

The Garage1217 Project Polaris looks pretty good. Is the iFi Micro iDSD that much better at the double the price? Same goes for the Emotiva.- DADDYDC650

Best amp for the SZ-2000? It'll mostly be connected to my PC so whatever will push these bad boys to the fullest. Thanks in advance. BTW, also plan on connecting my Philips X2HR's to the amp as well.- DADDYDC650

Amp/DAC for a JVC HA-SZ2000 and H2HR?
Forgot to mention that I'll be connecting the amp to my desktop PC/iPhone XS Max. Would I still need a DAC? Last of all, what do you folks think of the FIIO A5? I'm guessing this is a portable AMP? I wouldn't mind something just for my desktop if it provided better performance.- DADDYDC650

Sell my JBL LSR308's for something smaller but just as good for $350?
Seems like some people claim the LSR305's have a slight better sound because of the slightly tubby bass on the LSR308's.- DADDYDC650

Sell my JBL LSR308's for something smaller but just as good for $350?
I currently have speaker stands on both sides of the desk. I'd have no issues placing a sub somewhere near. I'd like to have my monitor, PC and speakers on my desk though. I'll check out the Swans. Thanks for the suggestion bud.- DADDYDC650

Sell my JBL LSR308's for something smaller but just as good for $350?
The hissing is normal on these JBL's because of the amp that's built in. I was thinking of perhaps going with passive speakers with a seperate amp? I don't mind losing some BASS if I'm getting the same mids/highs or better. I can always add a sub down the line. Thanks for your response bud.- DADDYDC650

Sell my JBL LSR308's for something smaller but just as good for $350?
My brother wants to buy my JBL LSR308's. I love them but they are a little too big for my computer desk. I can sell them for $350 but only if I'm able to replace them with something smaller but just as good if not better. Thoughts? Only complains I have in regards to the JBL's are the size which...- DADDYDC650
