Would you say the Fiio x1 is best entrance into audiophile player or is there another one that I should consider? In your opinion which player is better than the sansa clip +, the Ruizu or the xduoo x2?

I wanted to start using rockbox but I am having difficulty setting it up; I listen to a lot of metal, rock and roll music and a little hip hop and dance music. Just need some guidance as to what settings to use to get the most of my music.   set up: piqq headphones, ipod nano 2g, PA2V2
