Why dont you rockbox it or get some equalizer apps to improve the sound quality a bit?    You can add Flac files with rockbox they are better quality than mp3's and the standard ipod so ftware cant support them.

update: i have never had a sansa before how does the sound fair in comparison to say, ipod classic 5th gen or cowon x9? I made a post about a week ago most were telling me that sansa clip is slightly better than ipod when rockboxed, is this true?

HI, I am currently looking for a new portable setup I had this in mind (sansa clip +, Fiio e11, vsonic vsd1) do you guys any suggestions or improvements?   Thanks    I was also wondering if anyone had tried the new vsonic vsd1? also what are the other fiio amps amps like?

Thanks for the advice. im also looking at the JVC HA FXD80  and the logitech UE 600, has anyone else also tried these and able to comment on the sound in comparison to the GR06/VSD1?
