Ya im thinking about waiting for the x3 myself now.  i have been listening to my headphones and love them but they could use a little bit of help in the bass department so i might just get an amp now if i can find one that will help the bass out on them.

well i rockboxed my ipod 5th gen last night and recieved my headphones today and wow do they sound good.  Might just listen to them for a while while i decide what to do.  Im either going to get the fiio x3 or get either the fiioe12 or the c&c BH unless someone has some better input for me...

im very interested in that c&c bh amp hmm they also said they have a different one that is cheaper i wonder how that one sounds.  Also what would it compare to the fiio e12 as it is not really that much more money for the e12.

Is ebay the only place to get it im not always into buying on ebay.  Also i couldn't find any threads on it either.  It does look interesting though and if its good i would definitely put it on the list.

Yah I know its not a cap I'm not sure which way I want to go yet. Either the e17 or the x3 or just amp with either the e11 or the e12.

What other daps out there have a built in amp as i thinki i might be going that way or raising my budget to get the e17 or something similiar.

Well i have a classic so it wouldnt work unless you can remove it.  Also would the e11 be a better option?

I was also looking at that venturecraft go dap and it has a built in spot for the iphone can that be removed because if its better i might get something like that.  And with any of these will i notice the difference as i am no audiophile at least not yet.

that is what i kept reading so i thought since im new to this it would be a good start 

well i read some more and went a head and purchased the brainwavz hm5 for about $94 which seemed like a good deal from what i have read about them hopefully this was a good purchase.

also im new here so if i missed a thread that has already been made if someone could link that it would probable help.  But i think that hearing from people from personal experience would be best maybe someone that also listens to rock or heavy metal could chime in.
