I have static in the background when I use my V6's with any DVD's. Any suggestions to solve this would be appreciated.

I have a pair of V6's that I love. The problem is that when I use them for DVD viewing I get a faint static in the background. I have tried cleaning the contacts with alcohol but that did nothing. I would love some advice!
