Skateboard-Fi
As a kid I always wanted a skateboard, but living on a gravel road and going to school in a small town with brick streets and degraded sidewalks, it never made sense to buy one. I recently met a girl that had just gotten a long board and it didn't take much convincing to talk me into buying one...- FluxMaven

Black Ops 2 anyone?
Quote: I might have to give it another go then :P I think I am actually just burnt out on CoD. MW2 was the last game I really liked. Now I haven't been on my Xbox in weeks, or my PS3 in months. I just have so many fun PC games I would rather play and I work all day.- FluxMaven

I really wish they would put Gran Turismo and Forza on PC. The only newer racing game I have on PC is the new Need For Speed Most Wanted. Maxed out it is a beautiful game. but there are very few cars and the driving is... not very realistic lol.- FluxMaven

dBa levels, Hearing loss and measurements
The dude on the train had an amp on the stock iPod headphones? What a hoss. In other news, last time my hearing was tested, I already had some hearing loss... I was a sad lonely kid in middle school with my sweet 15gb 3rd gen iPod blasting music everyday. Luckily I stopped all that because...- FluxMaven

How Do You Discover Music?
I find music from lots of places, the best usually being recommendations from friends, but I find lots of good stuff on SoundCloud, YouTube, listening to Pandora, looking at the related artists on Spotify, sometimes I just go to a local music store (FYE) and just buy a handful of interesting... -
More bass out of Ultrasone ProLine 550?
I will look into different pads. I would love to get another set of bassy cans for my desk, but I need new IEM's for wearing under my motorcycle helmet before I can spend more money on anything that's going to sit at my desk.- FluxMaven

More bass out of Ultrasone ProLine 550?
New here obviously, But I was wondering if swapping the pads on my proline's would improve/increase amounts of bass. I used to have a set of Audio Technica ATH-M50s that were stolen :'( and bought the Ultrasones to replace them based off of reviews of Ultrasones being good for electronic/ bass...- FluxMaven

Apple-Fi (Mac's, iPhone's, All Thing Apple)
Pretty big Apple fan here. Owned half a dozen iPods and over a dozen Macs. I am on my 2011 MBP right now and sitting on an old G4 quicksilver that I use for a desk chair. I triple boot on my MBP snow leopard, lion, and Windows 7. I have always loved Mac operating systems, been using them since...- FluxMaven
