pics: took sleepdan's suggestion's thats why there're those huge 1000uF caps at the back. I'm just wondering, will these large caps "slow" the sound down since they'll take longer to charge/discharge?

I've no idea what the exact lead size is man.. but the cap is 16x25mm..maybe the NX-es have smaller leads?

well my blackgates finally arrived, after 2 long weeks, from Canada. plopped them all in (Ian, the 1000uF 25v NX fits!) When I first took a listen, I thought I hadn't put my headphones on properly or something, there was something distinctly different about the sound! hadn't noticed this...

33uf 6 x 11mm 100uf 13 x 20mm 470uf 16 x 24mm <--this is the same size as the 25v 1000uF NX and they aren't NX-es. I wanted a pure NX, NX-hiQ recapping lol. (the other caps as I said, are gonna be the 6.3v NX-HiQs which are reasonably small) I'll post back with some pics once my stuff...

I've got an AD8620 on a modded Emu 0404 so to bias an AD8620 with 2 CRDs I put one CRD connecting pin 1 to pin 4, and another CRD connecting 7 to pin 4? I don't have a technical background, so pardon me if it sounds way newbish!

I need someone to tell me exactly which pin to connect to and where on the board to connect the other end to.

I can't remember off-hand what valued caps I used, and the oscon-ed card is already on its way to a buyer. I don't think I went as high as 270uF for the red caps though, but 180uF should fit. the yellow cap holes can accomdodate more than 68uF, I think 100uF at least. the hole size on the board...
