I did my friend....but feedback so far seemed to suggest AK was similar to gen 2....but even if gen 2 better, you still can't say it's a lot better...it's misleading, as you don't explain your justification. The TH900 compares well shoulder to shoulder with most flagships.

A very sweeping statement....and hardly true, as they are chalk and cheese. I own TH900 and tried AK T5p extensively. Both great....they are very similar quality. The TH900 is more fun like a big engined muscle car...the T5p a more balanced tool like a British sports car....Both produce same lap...

Please add a meaty 6.3mm exhaust with full size headphones power! This may increase size a little but will be worth it not to have to add another unite for premium phones. I think portability should be the brief, not pocketability....you have other players in your range for that.

I tried the T5p on loan and with the exception of classical and acoustic guitar....I didn't like it. No bass = no atmosphere or tapping feet! I was quite impressed with AK T5p though...as bass returned. Big question is.....how does 2nd generation compare to AK version? Please! :-)

Just to own a UR product would be amazing....always admired their big wooden and metal objects. Did no-one prefer the wooden fronted version?
