New iems under $80 AU? fxd80 or something else?

I listen to a lot of indian vocal as well, and the pistons definitely fit the bill for that genre.

~$50-100 headphones as upgrade to Sennheiser HD202 and Monoprice 8320

Yeah, comfort was a very, very important thing for me, and taking that into consideration this seemed like the best choice as one of the most touted features of the HD439 was comfort. Anyway, thanks for all of your guys' advice!

~$50-100 headphones as upgrade to Sennheiser HD202 and Monoprice 8320

First impressions: man are these comfy!! Extremely lightweight, and sits very nicely over the ears. The build quality is somewhat plasticky but does not feel cheap or weak. Definitely feels like it can last a while. Nice sound quality, great controlled bass. No way near what bass-heads would...

The aviators are selling at $80 on amazon. Were they not selling at $150 last year? Not sure if these are the same ones..    http://www.amazon.com/Skullcandy-S6AVFM-156-Aviator-Headphones-Black/dp/B007GN0MHK

~$50-100 headphones as upgrade to Sennheiser HD202 and Monoprice 8320

Thanks. How are the Ultrasone 580/780? Also the m50 is at $100 now if that changes anything.. Also I should mention that I won't be able to get an amp for some time, considering I'm a college student on a strict budget   i'm trying to have as many options as possible. also should add that a...

~$50-100 headphones as upgrade to Sennheiser HD202 and Monoprice 8320

Hi, thanks so much for your recommendations. I should probably clarify my music genre, it's Indian classical music (I listen to the instrumental variety), so the music would consist of a violin/flute/sax as the main instrument, accompanied with a percussion instrument. I guess that would bring...

~$50-100 headphones as upgrade to Sennheiser HD202 and Monoprice 8320

I may be able to push it up to ~100. How about the ATH-M50? I'd have to wait for the price to drop obviously, but soundwise?

~$50-100 headphones as upgrade to Sennheiser HD202 and Monoprice 8320

Hey guys,   I started my foray into decent audio with the HD202's, and then the Monoprice 8320. I preferred the sound on the 8320 much more (the HD202's seemed somewhat muddy compared to the monoprice). I want to upgrade to some bigger cans that would provide more isolation and better sound...

    The Monoprice MP9927 PG 208.. MP8320 (MEP-933)..The $7.11 club..

Monoprice just added another two "Enhanced Bass Earphones with Built-in Microphone and Play/Pause Controls", the 10154 (Blue) and 10152 (Yellow). They're $6 and the specifications say they have an 11mm driver. Build quality doesn't look too great in the images though.

Quote: Same boat, which is why I'll have to think about whether I can really afford to buy these! Perhaps dsnuts can add these to his already lengthy list of monoprice buds he's tested :D

    The Monoprice MP9927 PG 208.. MP8320 (MEP-933)..The $7.11 club..

Hey guys, I just saw that there are now white and pink versions of the 8320 as well. They are the 9963 and 9960 respectively. Also, monoprice released another "Enhanced Bass Hi-Fi Earphones" (same name as 8320), but these have 10mm drivers and a microphone/iphone/ipod controls. The flat cable on...

Does anyone know about the 9980? I read on the wirecutter that Monoprice announced another version of these headphones (http://thewirecutter.com/reviews/best-headphones-under-30/), but can't seem to find anything about it.
