The Official Grado 325i Owners Club.
Quote: I also would not recommend the Magni - its a fantastic amp for many things but for me its too bright for my 325is as it made the shrill highs even worse. For me the the best solution was the Little Dot 1+. It really brought my 325s to life and its been great being able to roll...- morgenstern82

iPod Nano 7G opinions
I got the 7th gen nano two weeks ago and have loved it. I've got it hooked up to my Etymotic ER4S via a Headstage Arrow G4 with most of my music in AIFF and some in ALAC and have been very pleased with the SQ. I also own an iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, 1st gen Shuffle, 1st gen Nano, 6th gen Nano and...- morgenstern82

Etymotic Er4s
Quote: 1. I had this same issue for the first couple days. I felt stupid because I couldn't get them in. You will eventually figure out what works. One thing that helped for me was to get them a bit moist with water or spit and then put them in. 2. same 3. Yeah the volume for me was...- morgenstern82

Etymotic Er4s
Quote: Wow I don't remember that being there a few days ago. Robert has proven a master when it comes to build quality so if he is saying the unit is perfect and good to go then there is no reason to doubt its just as good as a new one. Had I seen that when I bought mine, I would have...- morgenstern82

Etymotic Er4s
Mine didnt use a block either and it ended up being ok. It took me a day or so to get used to inserting them but now I love it and would never use my ER4s without them. Not sure if your audiologist does this, but mine had me go back to them to have the molds fitted instead of sending the...- morgenstern82

Etymotic Er4s
Quote: In the last 2 months I upgraded to the custom ACS and also replaced my amp and got the Arrow G4. The combination has been spectacular and given me a completely new appreciation for the ER4S. For me, the custom ACS didn't affect the seal quality but it made them so comfortable that...- morgenstern82

Delivery of Headstage Arrow HE 4G
Quote: Yeah I've read what ClieOS wrote I just dont own a decent 3.5 to 3.5 interconnect to try it out. I would prefer to go lighting to USB but sadly the arrow doesnt support that........ yet.- morgenstern82

Quote: Yeah I have the 4PT that I then use the S adapter with. Its just a stupid little airline adapter (that many airlines have ditched btw) that makes it a T. On my iPod i use AIFF but on my iPhone I use 256 AAC to save space and the P sounds just fine there.- morgenstern82

Quote: Are they the iTunes Plus/Match 256 or are they lower quality? I hear a big difference with anything lower than 256 and in all honestly, I ended up putting my iTunes library aside and switching to AIFF & ALAC and reripping my tracks because of the difference brought out by my ER4s.- morgenstern82

Pictures of Your Portable Rig (part XVI)
Quote: Actually I've got everything in both AIFF and ALAC. I keep all of my music on a 1TB drive and then only have the songs I really listen to on a daily basis on the iPod so the size of AIFF isn't an issue. With my Etymotics I hear a slight difference in the clarity of AIFF over...- morgenstern82

Smallest most effective amp?
Super this would be the Arrow 4G but thats obviously out of the price range. I'm still surprised with how much I've enjoyed my E6, especially considering the price and the size is great.- morgenstern82

Headstage Arrow 4G vs. 3G
For me it was worth it. The treble feature has been a great addition for me as I enjoy the highs (I'm using Ety ER4S with it) but the bass to me is much cleaner to the point that on many songs I am even able to use the 2nd bass setting without it getting too muddy.- morgenstern82
