Quote:   Haven't found anyway around the plug/unplug issue, the nexus volume should be left at 100% and use your amp to control the actual volume to the headphones

    Brief Odac impressions

Just received my Odac from Headnhifi, works great on the lappy, but my Nexus7 doesn't seem to offer enough power for it (a sabre based dac works fine) so wondering if anybodies made a rechargable usb hub or such like to boost it as where I sit to listen to music doesn't have mains nearby and...

Hi All,   Having great difficulty finding players which support SMB, since CIF doesn't work properly under JB 4.2   So far my limit choice seems to be either BS PLayer (worst user experience i've ever encountered!) or XBMC? It seems none of the other big brand players like poweramp...

    NECO SOUNDLABS PORTABLE V.2 AMP

I've just received my v3 from Neco, he's using a new PCB now and you have the choice between having the gain or bass boost as the dip switches available underneath and the other is then available via jumpers inside if that makes sense?   Shelton.

Which recovery are trying to flash from? I use twrp and the latest version 3.3.2.0 iirc, with jellyrom I flash in this order; rom, gapps, kernel I download the files to my pc and transfer them to the N7 in a folder called downloads Sent from my HTC One X,

I'm rooted using rasbeanjelly, but it's the kernel which makes the difference and so far despite various claims on xda the only kernel I've found that works is the faux one, as per others it does require the dac to be plugged in at boot to work

Use a standard USB DAC with a Nexus 7 (step by step guide)

The faux kernel works with a usb dac as that's what I'm using with my N7
