Soncoz LA-QXD1, new balanced DAC for under 200$

I was looking at this as well, according to a post on www.audiosciencereview.com, it can be done but not with both amps (headphone and stereo) on at the same time. Leaving one off should be possible.

    OPA627AP alternatives?

Hi,   First of all, I'm not sure this is the right forum (I hope so). I have one channel in my soundlab v4 that doesn't work any more. Swapping the two opamps shows that one is dead. As I need to buy a new one, I thought maybe I could try some other opamps (considering that the OPA627AP...

    AUDIOPHILE LINUX (AP Linux)

I wonder how these distros are set up to be called audiophile. As already said, at the end the source code/programs are the same on all distros. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

    Open headphone

Hi all,   After few closed backend headphones, I wanted to try an open one. This will mainly be used at home, with a LD1+ amp. I usually listen to classic rock, with some electronic and more recent indie music. My budget is about £150, I can go higher if really worth...if not I'd like to...

New hybrid amp by Little Dot, I+

I let now the amp to burn in with some files found in the forum.   It's like a hiss I guess (I'm not sure about the difference between hiss and buzz), it's constant, it doesn't change at the volume change.   I'll try also a new pair of tube and maybe a new opamp. Any quick suggestion...

It depends what you mean. These days the terms hacker and cracker are used in the same way. If you mean this http://www.jargondb.org/glossary/hacker then I would consider myself one of those. Not that I excel in programming but I love to explore the inner details of computing.   If you...

what can you say about the samsung galaxy player 3.6

I was just looking for a decent player and I stumbled upon this thread. So I got curious and checked this player and doesn't seem bad at all. The 8gb can be found on amazon for £70. And it has custom ROM on xda. If it supports otg, it will be definitely my next player. Sent from my Nexus 7...

C&C BH Portable Headphone Amp (80 Hours from a Single Charge!) [Buyer Review]

Quote:   I've tried with both 1 and 2 output. The first one has more noise, but I can still hear it in the second one. I'm using the AKG K550 at home and the Koss DJ100 at work. I'm using the HiFimeDIY Sabre DAC and FLAC as source.   BTW removing the amp and just using the DAC I...

C&C BH Portable Headphone Amp (80 Hours from a Single Charge!) [Buyer Review]

Hi, I just got my BH and after few hours of testing, I'm getting a very disturbing noise especially in the right channel. It's getting more and more present if I increase the volume past half. Is this normal or might be my unit defective?
