I'll be listening to a pair of Edition 9s paired with a Rudistor RPX-33 and need a DAC to feed them. Do you think either DACs would have particularly good synergy with these, and what would be the positives and negatives of each? I'd prefer the NOS sound but am wondering if the Pandora would add...

^^^When I first read his post I reacted the same way as you. He does sound a bit angry but he has some relevant points about the build quality that you may not have known. I'd also be interested in how they SOUND compared to each other, though.

I'm guessing he's not making a lot of profit at these prices because of the bad name he has right now and after this gets good reviews and quite a few are sold the price will jump quite a bit.

I've never listened to it, but running the HD650s balanced out of the Lavry, Apogee or Benchmark DACs is supposed to sound great and on a higher level than the Gilmore Lite I think.
