i got a Right Angle Micro USB to Type C OTG Cable for Portable Digital DAC Amplifier, I believe the adapter is for memory and power only. Let me know how it goes.

I just got this combo Galaxy S8+ Oppo 2HA-SE I am trying to connect them but no sound. The Galaxy USB port is a USB-C USB 3.1 Type C Male To Micro USB Male OTG Sync Data on the OPPO. Selected port B on the Oppo and pluged the OTG but no response in the headphones. Any ideas?

I have music in MP4 format on my micro sd card. My xperia Z1compact MUSIC app will read all files. However Hiby will not even though I carry out a scan. What can I do?

Have any of the Xperia Z1 compact owners found a way to use an ODAC with Androiod 5.02 lollipop yet?  My Z1c worked great with my Sony PHA-1 bu now no go.

I have been using my PHA-1 with an Xperia Z1 compact for quite some time now.  Recently my phone upgraded Android to 5.02 and the Music App. Since then the music sent to my amp comes out flat sounding horrible with no possibility to use the Clear Audio option or the Equalizer? Anybody else...

After a recent android update to version 5.02 of my Xperia Z1 Compact the music that is transmitted to my Sony PHA-1 amplifier  is totally flat and low volume.  The Clear Audio and Equalizer do not work. Sound is terrible.   Anybody else noted this after updated and know what to do?

Exactly as my post states. From the XBA H3 to the new top of the line XBA Z5.  What is the difference. Is it worth the investment?

Has anybody upgraded from the XBA-H3  to the XBA-Z5?   I would really appreciate comments and comparison. I want to know if there is really a significant improvement rather than mere difference in sound signature.

Very good point. battery duration is not all that matters. I hate to say that the PH-2A does have much better battery life than the PH1A. I wonder if maybe we can swap out the battery for the new version and get same life

5 hours of continuous music is a long time. My Xperia Z does not outlast the PH1 anyhow.

Well you see that is the problem you are not comparing  apples to apples. Your are comparing a DSD file on the PHA2 to MP3 on the PHA1. Of course its going to sound better but not of its own merit but rather by use of a higher quality format.  A fair comparison would be to use same file types...

The sound quality differance you post is like night and day and I have to question such radical differance. I own the PHA-1 and its a damn good sounding unit. I do not doubt the PHA-2 may sound better of different but the magintud of your claims are such that I am hesitant to believe.

I was ready to order the H1 or  H3 but the reviews on this thread have started to be contradictory to a point I need to wait for an expert. I think the H3 being the new benchmark for Sony IEM deserves a methodological evaluation rather than the ..."it sounds great but not too great but great...

  Interesting to know. I guess change was done more to be able to do DSD rather than sonic qualities as the Wolfson does such a good job in the little box. If the improvement is not of galactic proportions I´m fine with mine.
