Personal conclusion: the stock double flanges only need getting used to, when you get used to it, it gets better, but dont wear it for about a month and the pain comes back but only a little.- LiquidFidelity

actually biflanges are only uncomfy at first, after about a couple of weeks, it's either your years get used to it or it softens up.- LiquidFidelity

Poll : Flat Cable Vs Round Cable! Please submit your answer
i prefer the usual round, but i actually kinda like the BA200's flat cable, it does tangle less while still being able to be put around the ears,- LiquidFidelity

[REVIEW] TDK BA200 - Smooth & Classy
Can't comment on the HF5, but in R50 and BA200 are different in a sense that the BA200 has a more warm sound with bass that's fast and extends pretty low for a BA while maintaining great detail, but little treble sparkle. R50 has a bit of a flat bass, fast. but makes up for it with better...- LiquidFidelity

i've used the popo triple flange and they seem to isolate better ( my right ear is weirdly shaped - leaks a lot of sound),,,sound quality, if anything, a bit better...but it makes my BA200 look weird.- LiquidFidelity

I would also like how the UM3X compares to the BA200...im pretty happy with em but i wonder if they're worth the money to upgrade, since from where im from, UM3X RC is $400, and i got the BA200 for about 180... is the UM3X worth the extra $220? I get the law of diminishing returns but, im...- LiquidFidelity

the BA200s have been my first BA iems, and i love them... i wouldnt really call them natural, but the bass goes deeper than any dual BA without sacrificing detail. would i buy it again? yes. would it beat triple/quad BA? no for about 150 bucks, its pretty much a steal.- LiquidFidelity

Quote: true, but there is always the "alternating loop" (not sure what its really called) cable wrapping technique where any cable comes out untangled every time they're unwrapped, I still use the same technique on my BA200s since it kind of tangles a bit if coiled conventionally.- LiquidFidelity

TDK BA200 Thread
I have to say, after getting used to the stock-biflanges, the BA200 is like a dream. no sibilance, not overly bright, detailed, reaches low, and excellent separation. one thing on my wish list is a non flat cabled BA200, or maybe the future BA300?- LiquidFidelity

New to IEMs. Am I doing this right?
most higher end iems i believe need a deep insert in order to get them to their full potential. I personally use a TDK BA200 and the only included tips are 2 pairs of complys and 2 pairs of biflanges. complys are comfortable but they muffle up a bit of the detail. while...- LiquidFidelity
