So from what I have heard the AKG 701's are fantastic! How do the k550s compare?

so I am thinking about getting the Pro 900's, but are the worth spending 370 plus 60 for a fiio e11? I am kindof hesitant after getting beat pro's.... I really dislike them because of their mids and highs (mids are what I am really looking for along with decent bass).

EDIT: Also I am a drummer (i have an electric kit now) so I want headphones that are detailed as well as a good amount of bass and especially good mids.
