Thanks for the review, I am after new headphones mainly for gaming and a little music and these do sound like contenders. Currently use Philips X1s and these sound like a good upgrade. Have to say I like the look of them except the headband the wood and plastic do not look very premium...- VIPmember

[New] Philips Fidelio X1
Been following this thread since I bought the X1s in January. Have to say I still love them and use them almost daily, its a shame the pads are not replaceable, but mine still look like new. I see Philips have a new set of headphones the L2 being released, which may interest some on this...- VIPmember

thanks I currently have a Fiio E17, but to make things more straightforward and have remote control I want something that will run my speakers and headphones. Would the headphone amp in the 3020 be of similar quality to the E17?- VIPmember

Reading the NAD website they describe the 3020 as having a 'Separate Headphone Amplifier' while saying the 1050 has a 'Discrete High Performance Headphone Amplifier' Anyone able to explain what the difference will be? I like the idea of the 3020 used in a 2.1 system as well as for...- VIPmember

[New] Philips Fidelio X1
Quote: I have both the DT770 Pros and the X1s, since I have bought the X1s I have only used the DT770s when someone else is in the same room and require closed headphones. The X1s are the most comfortable headphones I have worn, great clamping force for me and the earpads are amazing...- VIPmember

[New] Philips Fidelio X1
Quote: I still think my DT770s are great but they only get used when the X1s sound leakage is a problem. I have always found the DT770's very bass heavy, more so than the X1s. I find the DT770s shine when used for Gaming and Blockbuster movies. If you want more bass than the DT770s...- VIPmember

[New] Philips Fidelio X1
Quote: I have no problem with the fit and my head is on the large size. I have had the X1s for around 3 weeks and the comfort is great. They feel so light on my head, compared to my DT770 Pro's.- VIPmember

[New] Philips Fidelio X1
I have been using the X1's since Christmas and I am very pleased with my purchase (£170 from Philips UK). I will admit I do not have much experience with quality headphones, my only other pair of £100+ headphones are my DT 770 Pros. I have been using my X1's for most of my listening...- VIPmember

[New] Philips Fidelio X1
Quote: Enjoyed reading your review, makes the wait for my X1's all the harder, Philips have still not dispatched mine, so it looks like it will be a late Christmas present. I currently have DT 770 Pros and while I love them for short gaming sessions (around an hour) any longer and...- VIPmember

[New] Philips Fidelio X1
Quote: If you are ordering from Amazon Italy to the UK, when you get to the checkout it adds VAT, this takes the price to around £200 plus they charge for delivery. I have noticed Philips have some amazing discounts for their website, there was also a 40% discount which I missed...- VIPmember

[New] Philips Fidelio X1
Quote: Cheers, I registered to post the discount codes. This site is dangerous I have gone from owning a £50 pair of Sennheisers to Beyer 770 Pro's, Fiio E17 and Philips X1s in less than a year. Was thinking of getting the Senn 650s, but the Philips X1s have been getting some great...- VIPmember

[New] Philips Fidelio X1
Looking for my first open style headphones, and have decided to try the X1's in part because of reading this thread. I already own some DT770's and wanted to try something different. Looking forward to trying open headphones, as my last two pairs have been closed. I ordered from...- VIPmember
