I had the HD555 and I came here to check out what was out there... I ended up buying the HE-400s too! But I went with the Magni+Modi setup. My wallet was only mostly angry with me 

Every time I go to the gym I see on average 3 Beats. I always point them out to my workout buddy and he gets sooo livid :P Sometimes I see a guy with Skullcandy Aviators, which I guess is kind of unusual? I've never had the fortune of sighting an average Joe with audiophile grade cans ):
