How would Brainwavz m1 compare to the kilpsch x10? I'm gonna be putting these in my pocket during school and I also want a good sound for some hip-hop/metal. I don't listen to trashy hip hop with muddy bass though I need it to be pretty tight and punchy.- Tawngie

Buying portable or in-ear headphones? Seeking guidance? DON'T START A NEW THREAD. Ask for advice HERE!
Looking for IEMS below $80 that have a tight punchy bass, somewhat decent soundstage, good separation of instruments, and sound good with hip-hop/a bit of technical metal. (The hip-hop I listen to isn't crazy on bass but I can't appreciate it without a nice tight bass with a punch.) Please, any...- Tawngie

Brainwavz R1 Review
Alright, I'm just about to order these. Any last minute input? I listen to a lot of technical metalcore like Born of Osiris, pop punk like the Wonder Years, and alternative rap sorta like Kid Cudi. I've noticed that earbuds with too much bass ruin this music but I like tight punchy bass that I...- Tawngie

Brainwavz R1 Review
I know this is going to be sorta apples to oranges but here it goes. I want some earbuds/portable on ear headphones for like max $120. I already have some nice full-size headphones (DT 770 LE 32 ohms) but I need something to listen to while at school. I'm debating on getting these or going with...- Tawngie

Monster Turbine Pro's Gold warranty
Hey guys, I had a question about monster's warranty. If I were to get these used and have a problem with them later on, could I still redeem the warranty or would I have to show some type of proof of original purchase?- Tawngie

What's up headfi? I'm still on the market for some on-ear portables. My budget is $200 and I prefer them to be somewhat stylish and resilient. I want these to wear while in at school (still in high school) and still have decent sound quality. I listen to a lot of technical metal, trance, and...- Tawngie

What's up everybody? I need some advice from you audio gurus. I'm looking for some headphones that are pretty portable and easy to use in a school environment. I'm a senior in high school and these headphones are really just meant for the bus ride to school and during school when I have...- Tawngie

Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro - Limited Edition, 32 Ohms
Just got mine today and they sound amazing straight out of the box! I'm loving these headphones. The cable is nice and strong, headphones look decent (they're a little big but they don't look ridiculous), and they're really comfortable. These let you immerse yourself into the music.- Tawngie

Bigsby got me interested in the DT770 32 Ohms LE now haha. I'm debating on these headphones now cause they both seem really really similar. The DT's seem more professional although the k167's do have a bit more portability and style to them. The sound on the DT's seem a bit better for my taste...- Tawngie
