After reading the Utopia thread with 12% of owners in repair, many more with warranty issues, i think I'll pass. The LCD-X are so satisfying $$$ can be spent elsewhere in the system, until another game changing technology arrives. Adorama had some open box pairs at $2300 supposedly.

For what it's worth,, I spoke with Marcus at PS Audio about the display showing it was playing 16/44 while playing a known 24/96 Herbie Hancock Joni track and Marcus said there's a bug in the display,, should be remedied with future firmware.  Asked him when we can expect gapless as well...
