AUDEZE LCD XC
I bought mine in the creator's package from a local audiophile shop. It came with the updated leather headband. It is shipped in a big cardboard box with a hell of a lot of dense foam padding cutout to fit the headphones. Effectively a foam-filled cardboard version of the Pelican-style carrying...- hudy

Mine came with the LCD Suspension Headband stock (https://www.audeze.com/products/accessories/lcd-suspension-headband), so I don't imagine the weight distribution would be all that much different than the carbon, aside from that amazing carbon look- hudy

I have the new headband on mine and really like it. It definitely distributes the weight across a wide area. I also want to get the carbon band though! :money_mouth:- hudy

Nice. I like those and might be a good solution, as I am adding the Audeze Mobius to my computer headphone selection for my gaming needs. Ah yes, thank you. I had seen photos of these on display, found them on Amazon, but they were just the cheap knock-offs.- hudy

Well, the audio seems to be quite flat, doesn't pack a lot of 'punch', especially in the bass. However, extremely clear Also, does anyone use a broad EQ software that layers on top of whatever Windows is pushing to the DAC? Something like FxSound by example?- hudy

Alright...welp...I bought the Sennheiser HDV 820. Reputable brand, made in Germany, good reviews. Screw it! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes::o2smile: Hopefully I made a decent choice! Shot my price target all to hell. Being an amateur in this arena, I decided to go with a name I knew .- hudy

AUDEZE LCD XC
I had looked at some of that type of gear, just a bit more than what I want to spend right now. Was hoping for a full setup under 3,000 with the cans. So maybe a bit over the 1000 guide for a DAC and amp Thanks, but if you look at my post, you'd see I considered the brand. After reading more...- hudy

AUDEZE LCD XC
Hi everyone! I just picked up a pair myself. I’m currently using a Pro-ject HeadBox DS DAC/amp combo box. However, the volume being reset every time you turn it on is starting to drive me crazy. I would like to switch out for something else. I am connecting to a Windows 10 PC. I would like to...- hudy

B&O H9 Discussion and Impressions thread
Hi everyone! I've tried reading as much as possible, but this thread is unbelievable lengthy already, and there just isn't a ton of information regarding the H9's as they compare to the Bose QC35. I have been a long-time frequent traveler with my Bose QC25s in my bag. The sound is the sound...- hudy

Fender IEM (Aurisonics) Impressions, Reviews & Discussions Thread
Hey team, After some time, I have finally received my AS-2's! There were some minor delays in the process (mostly due to the fact that I have smaller than average ear canals), but I am happy to announce that Dale and his team really came through with making it right. Incredible...- hudy

Awesome tips about the ear wax, thanks a lot! Seeing as I know almost nothing about hearing aids and just enough about the safety aspect for my field of work, I wasn't sure what most "main stream" audiologists would have normally available; but figured it would be something along those...- hudy

I was in total agreement with you. It would be more of a logistics issue from the audiologist standpoint, I would imagine; having the scanner for one, collaborating with the manufacturers for two. Good tip, as well! I small bit came out with my impressions, but it was so deep in my ear...- hudy

kenman, Ha, with today's technology, you sure think something like that would be possible! Even if it were, I'd still be SOL living in this coastal town in Central Queensland haha! When I went in to get my impressions, the audiologist looked at me like I was absolutely crazy, had no...- hudy

Hey fuzzy, thanks! Earlier today I actually called Aurisonics and got an ear full about the excitement around the ASG-2! :) So what is all the hype about the idea behind more is better? Seems like plenty of 2 and 3 driver phones get great reviews, as do 4,6, and 8 driver ones?- hudy
