Absolutely right. I've owned many headphones, but none of them was as transparent and natural as HD800. Analysing and comparison graphs like you do is like compare 2 apples without tasting. In that case i always choose the uglier one 'cos it tastes much better ;)

You are right. I bought it 2nd hand, so that's why the early S/N. The certificate was just required a few months ago.   Guys, what's the reason of the hided S/N? Some of you wilfully shroud them.

Sennheiser HD218   The bass pulls of your head and ear...too much. Moreover this bass veils all other sounds like treble and midrange and the overall sound transforms to a pulpy/slushy thing.   First and last this is a total dead-end. Not recommended!!!

"HDVD800 can handle HD600/650 pretty well, and for HD800 it's acceptable, but only acceptable, do not have a high expectation that it can deal with HD800."   I've heard the same at Sennheiser room in Budapest - High End Show.

I've found that this amp doesn't have enough power for my HD800. Maybe the source was too quiet or probably i used to listen at extremely high volumes :D

It's shocking to read that these relatively cheap stuffs are counterfeited as well :mad:
