Nah end of block exams. Sounds unimportant, but important exam in order to pass my course : ( . 

I'm gutted. Found out due to my own error I calculated my exam week one week early, so actually my exam is 2 days after the meet, not 4 days before . Was so looking forward to meeting other ppl from head-fi in Sydney.   Maybe next year....

Just got my pair today. Compared to my 7 bump K701s, I can definitely agree with the more lower end opinions. I'll have to give it a few more days, but from what I'm hearing now, I do feel they've improved on the K701s finally after all these years.

I use the ak100 stock with my gr07s, and haven't noticed any issues tbh, background is silent, and soundwise I haven't noticed any major issues. However take this with a grain of salt, since I've exclusively used my ak's for listening for the last year.

What painted klown has said in his first post is pretty much spot on. All of the sound cards have in-built amplification, and so if you hooked that output from the sound card to the magni you'd be amping twice, which is not recommended.    I personally run the modi + magni combo myself and I'm...
