Hey guys, just wondering if there is anyone in auckland who owns the HE-500 and/or the HE-560? It would be doubly awesome if you had it pair with any of the schiit products too :3   Just enquiring if a listen could be scheduled at some point :P

  Yeah its only that the headphone I'm looking to sell is the HE-400, and from amazon it is $100 bucks off at 299 haha, and it is less than a year old with lots of accessories (paid 450 excluding shipping). I know its a bummer, but I was trying to avoid having to sell it for ~200 if possible.

Hahah, I wasn't debating if it was a reasonable price :D I do realise the difference of 20 dollars or so doesn't make much difference when purchasing a CIEM.   May I ask which you are interested in? My only doubt is being whacked with a hefty customs tax when bringing anything in at that price...

I inquired with the acoustixs that helmetguy suggested. And they say that $95 dollars for the impressions through them. They try sell UE products since that is their the distributor(?) for the region.   Not sure if that is a good price? Seems in proportion with the inflation of price of...

Has anyone had any CIEM's done here? If so, can anyone recommend a good audiologist in Auckland and a rough idea on the costing of one?  Any tips for a prospective CIEM buyer here in NZ?   Thanks

I personally have about 90GB in total. Probably about ~5 is non lossless. I recently bought a ipod off a headfi member and he still had all his songs on the ipod, about 100GB worth and all lossless. SO ~200gb? I guess thats cheating tho

  Wow, how have i never heard of the new generation of Hifiman cans? They look goooooooood. I love the redesign. Interesting it is a step up from HE-6.

  But but those headphones are so god damn sexy NZTF. I mean, with my HE-400 the Hifiman Heli Headset look is pretty cool, BUT I WANT WOOD :)    However, back to the point, do the HE-6's actually sound that much better compared to the LCD- 2.x or LCD-X? or even LCD-3 (if you heard it).
