My GR07 Bass Edition have approximately 50 hours of burn-in on them now, probably about 30 hours of that being with high dB pink noise and the other 20 while actively listening to music at normal volumes.  Even out of the box they already sounded fantastic but I can already tell they are opening...

Annafrancesca: how do you feel that the GR07 Bass Edition compare/contrast with the TDK BA-200 now that you have them fully burned in?

Well, after much thought and invaluable constructive input from Travelbug and Azathoth, I have ordered a pair of the GR07 Bass Edition.  I may yet get the Mk2 for comparison's sake when finances allow.   Thank you both for helping me come to a decision!

Has anyone tried silicone triple flange tips with these?  The stock silicone triple flanges always gave me the most comfortable and best seal on my Shure E4 (deceased now)... and I've read that the MEElectronic tips fit the GR07 well.

Well, now I've narrowed it down to the Atrio M5 (MG7 Transducer) and the V-Sonic GR07, still can't decide.

My Shure E4 (paid $180) served me well for six years but have finally bit the dust.  If I could have replaced the cabling they would still be a fantastic piece of kit; with this in mind detachable cables are a strong selling point to me but not a requirement.  They are the only IEM I have...
