What pads? The connector seems to be just pulled off (the small wires stayed in place until I tried to put it back on them and connector doesn't look broken - just without the silver wires on it). So in theory if I buy a new connector like this one and find someone that can solder it back on, I...

I think I screwed up my girlfriends Ipod... HDD failed so I tried to surprise her for her birthday and ordered Tarkan iFlash Dual and and SD card to fix it. I opened it up and inserted iFlash but when I tried to plug back in the battery cable I noticed that there is something missing... The part...

Ok thanks for the info! I guess the best aka. cheapest solution would be iFlash CF adapter + SD adapter with 64 GB SDXC card.

    7th Gen (2009) iPod Classic 160 SQ

Hello, I've got a problem with my iPod Classic 160GB. When I plug it into the computer it freezes the iTunes and it won't unfreeze untill I plug it out. I've tried every possible solution I've found on the internet... different versions of iTunes, putting it in disc mode and trying to set it up...

The IEM/Portable Headphones Deal Alerts Thread - Closed! Use the Deals Thread III instead.

I went for Brainwavz R1 deal from mp4nation, since Sony's MH1C that I ordered from Amazon got lost in the mail... Discount code to bring the price down to 29.50/34.50$ is THANKSR1. They said the code will only last till monday but I just used it and it still worked.

Quote: Alright ALRIGHT YOU WIN! I give up! I didn't want them because of the cable but to hell with it. How dare you make me save money??!! But seriusly if they come even close to Xears xe200pro I'll be happy and I'll be damn sure to start using this thread as a bible for earphones. I'll...

    The discovery thread!

Quote: I thought R1 would come on top when it comes to listening instrumental music and would create best ambience. What I loved about Xears XE200PRO was the separation and clear sound of instruments. Also vocals were so soothing for my ear and I did read some complaints about vocals...

Quote: No idea what dual driver does, but reading through all the threads a lot of people are impressed by it and think it's good stuff, so it does seem that R1 will be my pick (why does it always have to be the most "expensive" one?!). Thanks for recommendation!

    The discovery thread!

Quote: So if you could pick one out of R1, FX31 and MH1C which one would you recommend the most? I'm deciding between these 3 and seeing you have all of them, how would you compare them?

    Xears Thread (formerly TD III)

Yeah I was looking at R1 as well. It would be a nobrainer at 25. Now I also found JVC HA-FX31 which is also priced in ~30€ range... I might just wait for Dsnuts review on R1 in his discovery thread and see how he compares them to FX31. Xears at 43€ just don't seem worth it any more.

    Xears Thread (formerly TD III)

So I've narrowed it down a bit after some more research (srsly how did such a low cost buy managed to get so complicated lol?). Now I'm deciding between Xears (xe200pro or TD4), Vsonic GR02 and Sony MH1C. I liked the sound of Xears but build quality and bad fit is what is breaking the deal for...

    Xears Thread (formerly TD III)

Heya, 10 months ago I was lurking around this forum to find myself a low budget pair of earphones and decided to pick up xe200pro. I loved the sound signature but sadly right earphone just stopped working. I'm unsure if I want to go for them again, since I did have some fitting issues (I guess...
