Hi all, Happy New Year!   I know it's been awhile since I've posted, but I just wanted to post my (old) followup pic of my portable rig with the ud100 and e6 paired with my Galaxy s3.  Still enjoying the combo as it is a great sounding rig and very pocketable despite the multiple connections...

Actually the dragonfly or whatever it's called is more portable I guess but it's also 3 times as expensive.

Sorry you can't enjoy your dac with your phone lh, but from what I've read you'll get plenty of use of of that dac nonetheless. I'm still waiting for the dac to arrive, but I also went ahead and ordered an e6 (for less than $30 bucks you can't really go wrong with it anyway). I'll post some...

Thanks lh! Keep us posted. Looking forward to receiving mine as well.....I just plugged my jh5s into my wife's iphone5 and they are dead silent with no hiss :disappointed:. Didn't see this coming when I decided to get the s3. I'm hoping this little dac will more than level the playing field.

Thanks for the replies guys. Looks like I'll be shopping for a small portable amp.  The e6 looks promising, but I'm curious to see if anyone can recommend a tiny amp, perhaps a bic lighter size cmoy or something even smaller if it exists.  As you can see I'm placing all the emphasis on...

BTW, using my JH5s on my sansa Clip Zip and they sound great! Also pretty much zero hiss, which makes it even more painful listening to the waterfall that accompanies my galaxy s3 headphone jack .  Too bad I can't listen to pandora on my clip zip.  Can't wait for the ud100 to get here.
