Want to upgrade from hd600
hi, thanks for that x2 suggestion, will keep it in mind. I should add that most of the listening I do is live performances of indie rock bands, some electro sometimes, but generally I go for live performances. Not necessarily arenas/stadiums, more like studio and festival performances.- vanwil

flash player adjusts volume despite external dac
Hi everyone So I'm usign an Audio-GD dac as part of my rig. It is connected via USB to my sound card and, as expected, I cannot change the volume of what is playing from Window's volume button in the system tray. What I don't understand is why I can do this from various flash players...- vanwil

Sennheiser HD 600 Impressions Thread
Nothing at the moment, headphones plugged straight into laptop... I should receive an Audio GD Fun this week. I feel like a reply is coming my way: "put the headphones away until you get the amp"- vanwil

Sennheiser HD 600 Impressions Thread
It's my second night with my new HD600s and I would like to drop my humble opinion in a few lines. First thing I should say: I'm coming from RS 170 (sennheiser, wireless), so this is or at least should be a major step forward. Second thing: I listen directly from my laptop, FLACs, mostly indie...- vanwil

Migrating from RS 170 to HD 650
Based on what I've been reading lately, it has come down to choosing between the Fiio E9 and Little Dot MKii. Again, this is an amp that I will use with the HD650. I would appreciate any feedback related to my choices.- vanwil

Hi. I have the same problem with my RS170. I switched the attenuator on the transmitter but the hiss was still there. No change.- vanwil

Migrating from RS 170 to HD 650
NA Blur, would I need anything between the Q701/HD650 and the STX, or can the sound card do a good job by itself?- vanwil

Migrating from RS 170 to HD 650
Hi everyone. I love listening to my indie FLACs whenever I get the chance and, for the past year, I've been using the RS 170. The hiss has been a problem all this time. Recently I had the opportunity to test several headphones all playing the same audio and I was stunned by the HD 650. Before I...- vanwil
