That is pretty much what I'm doing at the moment. As I said, it's more a nuisance than a problem and I'll be able to live with it.- Hark3n

NEW XDUOO X serie DAP-X20, X10+ & X3+. XDUOO Are on FIRE!!!
@XVortex is really doing awesome work. It would be nice if he can figure out a way to do this, but like I said, it is a bit of a nuisance and I can manage to live with that. Not sure if it is a corrupted card. Card is brand new and plays with no problem in the stock firmware. I'll play around...- Hark3n

NEW XDUOO X serie DAP-X20, X10+ & X3+. XDUOO Are on FIRE!!!
So I've bought myself the X3ii. What an awesome little player. Like all good tinkerers I almost immediately got RockBox on it and I must say it is a dream to use. Settings galore. Unfortunately I've run into two "problems". One more a nuisance than a problem, and one serious problem. It...- Hark3n

Bit Perfect Audio from Linux
Quote: Ah, I missed a section of my previous post. I meant to say that I will be trying Mint in December as well. Friend of mine is a huge Mint fan, and dev as well on some libs, and he is raving about it to no end. Thought that I will try my hand at it this December. If I don't like it...- Hark3n

Bit Perfect Audio from Linux
Quote: Not Ubuntu, but Kubuntu. I usually only upgrade with every new LTS release, but this year I'm waiting for December. Have a couple of new HDD's to buy and then redo everything. Anyway, onto the 25 devices thing. Command line lists only shows 3 devices. DigiHug (the E10)...- Hark3n

Bit Perfect Audio from Linux
Quote: Not at all impossible. Like I said, I only do a fresh install every couple of years and there is one just around the corner for me, so there might be serious improvements that I haven't gotten yet.- Hark3n

Bit Perfect Audio from Linux
Quote: Never had that happen with me. Must be software related. Spare yourself the headache and just leave it if it works. Apparently OSS4 is a very good audio system, but I'll only try it in about a months time when I do the bi-annual clean install.- Hark3n

[Impression] FiiO E10
I recently got hold of one of the older E10's, with the loose headphone jack. Has anyone on head-fi tried to replace the jack with something from the local electronics shop? It doesn't bother me at the moment (I only notice it when I'm actually removing my headphones), but I read a couple of...- Hark3n

Bit Perfect Audio from Linux
Howdy people, Just a quick rundown of my experience with Linux audio. Short version: A ******** mess. Long version: I've been running Linux for a good couple of years now. Mainly Kubuntu, but have dabbled in some other flavours. Anyway, recently I started to get the...- Hark3n

Which USB DAC/amp combo for first time budget buyer
Hi there head-fiers (that doesn't sound right), I've been lurking around this site for a good couple of years now, learning stuff and generally just drooling over some of you okes' setups. So, after many moons of wondering and deciding, I have finally made up my mind and decided to buy...- Hark3n
