I've owned both and unless you have mythical golden ears, there's very little difference once they're broken in. If forced, I'd buy Schiit.

I like it, but prefer Ultrasone's reference disc. This is still an excellent download.

Mine is run from my Imac with Audirvana 1.5.6 to my Qinpu A3 and into B&W 686’s. Sounds better than I expected, that is its excellent for an easy to set-up Music Server.

I paid $188 for mine and that included shipping. $140 Sounds about right , if it's used. If not, there have been some complaints on a few models having loose parts.

Schiit has a $99 one now. Have not seen a review. I had their Bifrost and it was very good, but upgraded a few months later.
