New custom IEM company - Custom Art: discussion, review, and impressions thread
If I'm reading this right, the Music Two has the same sound in the mids, albeit more detailed and refined, more bass presence and extension, and more treble crispness, extension and presence. So it's the same general idea of a lush, musical iem as the Music One, but more fully realized and...- jswansong

Hey, can anyone give me the rundown on what's different sound-wise between the Music One and the Music Two? I'm going to be getting one of the two once my wallet recovers from the holidays. |joker| and average_joe's impressions of the Music One are making it hard to wait!- jswansong

Hey Peter, when were you thinking about releasing the Music Two? I was about to pull the trigger on the Music One, but if the Music Two is significanty better without being too much more expensive, I'd upgrade to the Twos.- jswansong

Grado Sr60i vs. Sr80i
Thanks! I'll try to be around more. Quote: Yeah. I would say that if you just wanted something that sounded awesome, forget the sr80i exists and get the sr60i. But since you're here at Head-Fi, you're interested either in absolute performance or bang-for-your-buck. The sr80i is my...- jswansong

Grado Sr60i vs. Sr80i
More or less. I haven't had much time to participate in the community, but my love of sound (and gear) has continued to flourish. Yes, both models were rocking the stock comfies when I wrote that. I ended up with taped bowls on my sr80is, though. Good luck on your journey down the...- jswansong

Review by 'jswansong' on item 'Sony DRZX701IP Monitor Headphones for iPhone'
First impressions is these is they are very nice in person. They're light for full-size closed cans and the cushions on the earpads and headband are very soft and comfortable. The cups themselves are plenty big to be circumaural for almost everyone but they are a touch shallow, so...- jswansong

Grado Sr60i vs. Sr80i
I'm new, but I figured I should throw in my two cents, seeing as that I had this question when I started getting into genuinely good headphones and answered it for myself. I've had a bunch of headphones (Sony MDR-V150, countless Apple earbuds, some nicer earbuds with neodymium magnets...- jswansong
