The Basshead Club
checking in. 7th gen ipod classic (rockbox)---------->fiio e11---------->HFI-780's. have to say i really like them, but i still feel that they are not as bassy as i expected. i was sort of expecting smash-your-face-in-bass, but that was not the case, i guess i just need to lower my expectations :p- fatmaggot

Help needed!
I think you need to fix the survey, I can only pick one brand of headphones. I would also suggest having a price bracket for 300-500 and 500< as there are many people on this site who have spent thousands on one pair of headphones.- fatmaggot

Who here is a high school audiophile?
Quote: Haha, no, at least not purchases of a headphone nature ;) My parents don't get why after buying my first pair (k242's) I chose to get another. The purpose and difference between open and closed back does not really make sense for them.- fatmaggot

Where does Mid-Fi end , and Hi-Fi Start?
I am just generally interested in what you guys think is the difference between a mid-fi, or hi-fi set of cans/iems. Whilst in reality, almost all of the headphones discussed on here are hi-fi in the sense of the meaning (high fidelity) , there does seem to be a bit of a price tag on what the...- fatmaggot

How do i remove paratheses in Media Jukebox?
As the title says, i am looking how to remove paratheses as a sorting criterion for J River Media Jukebox. I did it on my old computer, but now, since i built my new desktop, I can't seem to find i anywhere. By paratheses i mean The Beatles, or A band i can't think of. Cheers- fatmaggot

help needed with computer
bump/update. I have changed the slots that the ram is going into, which seems to make a small difference, in that i get less grey screen, but it still is crashing. I am getting a black screen, my computer won't buzz, but it will continue the sounds it has been playing. About a 2-3second sample...- fatmaggot
