Why did YOU buy an Ultrasone?

Quote:   I have auditioned a lot of the edition series, but none were of any improvement compared to their lower tier headphones. I have yet to try the hfi series, but I hardly think that ultrasone's lowest tier headphones would sound any better. If you could dig deeper into this sound...

Why did YOU buy an Ultrasone?

Quote: And this is coming from "TrollDragon" I originally never wanted the impression of others. Most of my colleagues are so-called "beats freaks" I just wanted to show them what headphones SHOULD sound like. It's funny that you would mention that post I made, cause I bought the...

Why did YOU buy an Ultrasone?

I don't get why people still buy these trash cans. They are one of the most horrendous headphones I have ever listened to. Is anyone willing to tell me why they bother with this brand? I mean, you guys spend 2k+ on the higher end products. I really want to know.

    [New] Philips Fidelio X1

I don't understand what you're insinuating. I'm perfectly fine with mixing with open back especially since I take classes on music technology in school (meaning that I must be able to hear my teacher speak while my headphones are playing music). If you're talking about the selection of...

    [New] Philips Fidelio X1

These are open back right? If so, do they leak more than the SR80i? I'm contemplating between this, the M50's LE and the k701/k550 I use headphones for mixing and listening to jazz, classical, dub, dubstep, and acoustic (maybe a little techno).

Looking for the Perfect headphones (for me)

A lot of the AKG's are very nice. I really like the new Tiesto headphones, but I'm skeptical about the whole idea of companies using artists to sell their products. The Fidelio's look nice, but they look cheap and unable to use in a studio. Same with the ATH-M50's.

Looking for the Perfect headphones (for me)

Hi guys,   I joined yesterday, but I've been on this forum a lot in the past. Over the past few months, I've contemplated getting headphones for leisure, and gradually, I've waited for the perfect headphones to appear.   Sadly, there were none.   And as time passed I started taking...
