    WOO-HOOOO... WA7 "fireflies"!!!

Yes exactly! I have the HDMI sound going to my monitor, then out the 1/8" jack on the monitor, then to a 1/8" to RCA splitter into the back on my WA7. the noise floor is so bad through the monitor. theres a consistent buzzing sound that i stopped trying that setup and have it going through my...

RME HDSPe AIO Has anyone tried this card before?

I am consolidating my Studio PC and Gaming PC into one setup for when I move into the new house. So i picked up an RME PCI card coming from a Roland OctaCapture. WOW the converters are really good. I hardly ever use my WA7 anymore. I feel that the music is cleaner and more clear with the RME and...

Can you dudes recommend me audiophile speakers?

I have a pair of Swans M50w 2.1, they sound excellent. I run them through the WA7 RCA outputs. I think they're only like $250? they are more fun to listen to then my studio monitors which i payed $300 per speaker. so if your budget calls for $500,  maybe something higher up in the swans line...

The best headphones in the world

I sold my H800 after getting my hands on the Audeze LCD-XC, I love everything about them. Looks, sound, closed. they could use some comfort adjusting but I don't mind to much. great headphones

    Comply Tips Review

I replaced the stock foam tips in my SE535 with some comply tips. I thought they made a huge difference in comfort. They also isolated a bit better than the ones that came with it. After cutting out the film, i actually decided that i liked them with the film in. I guess with the 535 it smoothed...

    WOO-HOOOO... WA7 "fireflies"!!!

The only noticeable difference from a memory standpoint is sometimes the Lyr made my LCD-2s trebles sound harsher than it does with the WA7 and comparable volumes. I honestly can't tell the difference in the sound quality(besides how quiet it is) because I sold the Lyr +Bifrost before the WA7...

    WOO-HOOOO... WA7 "fireflies"!!!

Oh man. My fireflies arrived on tuesday, it's the best amp i've ever had. I have a Swans M50W connected via RCA. I just flip a switch in the back and switch from speakers to headphone. also, having 0 noise at almost all volumes on the headphones is massive. My last two amp setups(schiit Lyr +...

This is great news for me, thank you. I'm getting fitted for customs next week, i'll hold out on actually buying them until black friday. Id also have longer to choose my IEMs. how do UEs stack up to JH 16/13's? price is irrelevant between models.

Oppo PM-1: A New Planar Magnetic Headphone!

Yeah I come from AKG k702 annies/ t5ps. I find that the LCD2s aren't glasses friendly like my other ones. I end up shifting them a lot, but I deal with it for their sound.

Oppo PM-1: A New Planar Magnetic Headphone!

I've been with Audeze products for the past year or so. If they can get their own sound signature like the LCD-2 did and they're comfortable for long sessions? I'd pick a pair up in a heartbeat. as much as i love my audeze headphones they lack in the comfort department. these looks very comfortable.

    Answer to the bass issue?

I found the ATH W1000X's to have good bass, albeit the price is higher than the headphones you listed. cheapest i've seen new was about $400 USD
