If we're adding portable gear as well I can add a H340 (running rockbox) and ksc-35's as well to my list of stuff to bring.

    Australia, Brisbane, Headphone Auditioning

A good idea for everyone is to bring one or two favourite cd's along. Something you know really well so you'll be able to pick differences between systems easily. I'll have all the shpongle albums ripped to flac as well as a selection of various other styles (some opeth, bits of...

    Australia, Brisbane, Headphone Auditioning

hmm a brisbane headphone meet eh. I'd be up for that. I've got DT880's, DT770's, MS-1 and a talisman T-3H amp i could bring along. Not to mention a reasonable source in my laptop (firewire audiophile)

Where to get Infected mushroom cds?

I highly recommend Psyshop.com . Prices are good (compared to anywhere local for me) and they're quite fast with stuff that's in stock. Only took them a week to get stuff to me.

    New Infected Mushroom!

It's a pretty cool album but a couple of the tracks **** me off - Cities of the Future and IM the Supervisor - I just couldn't stand the vocals on either of these tracks. The rest however is damn good in usual IM style.

deviant electronics - brainwashing is childsplay. it's a fairly old album and i've been trying to find a copy what seems to be forever - i've only 128kbit mp3's and i hate the quality.. i would love to own the cd. Dimension 5 are another favourite of mine (again i've never managed to get my...

Ultrasone HFI-650 Trackmaster : Quick Impressions by gsferrari

I was going "What" there for most of that. I have a pair of trackmasters and they really dont have that much bass at all. I use them solely for critical listening (the clarity from them is quite good) as I dont find them enjoyable to listen to most of the time.

    MDR7509 vs DT770Pro vs DT250-250

depends on what you're after I went from using a pair of 7509's to a pair of 770's. definately more detail there and I prefer the sound of the 770s. But there's ALOT more bass compared to the 7509. and with the right source/amp the 770's aren't bloated at all. but there's also the fact the...

    MDR7509pro vs k240 vs DT250-120 vs hd570

I used to own a pair of 7509's. I sold them in favour of a pair of Beyer DT770pro's. though the 770 sound is probably not for everyone. for a closed phone the DT250-250 that lini recommended is probably your best bet. While the sony's were decent (yes I actually didn't mind the 7509 sound)...

    Grado RS-1s in Australia

instead of the grado's maybe alessandro's? the alessandro ms-pro's are pretty much slightly tweaked rs-1's and are a crapload cheaper than grado locally. try headphonic.. New top-of-the-line Audio Technica headphone: ATH-L3000, made from leather?!

not half bad looking.. but the brown-ish leather does make them look too much like a pair of gloves or worse.. a bloody cricket ball - that was my first though anyway.. who sliced up an old cricket ball for that thing... a nice creamy colour would have looked much better imo

    Headphones for Electronic music Dj/Production

I produce electronic musics.. I use DT770's and 7509's. though i'll probably ditch the 7509's for a pair of ultrasone 650 trackmasters. for actual DJíng though i wouldn't reccomend the 770s and i'm not sure about the 650's.. the 7509's might be usable but imo are a tad too bulky for that purpose.
