Thanks- Grado said send them in and they would put new woofers in both sides for 30.00.  Seems like the prudent thing to do.  I don't want to pitch them.  I am not going to get another set for 30.00. I guess I will chalk it up as a lesson learned.  The cost of which appears to be around 30.00.
