When you use the DSP effects in a USB audio interface or stand alone hardware unit... like compressors EQ etc... do the recorded tracks in the DAW have the effects? or are the effects just for monitoring? I know that time based effects usually are NOT recorded when recording and laying down...

Its actually an older device used to convert Vinyl to digital format. for the time it was released... it was very good tech. Steinberg is written along top of the device and it came with an early version of wavelab. very neat device. still havnt got the usb to work in my pc however... it powers...

Would the Sherwood RX 773 be better than the Marantz nr1402? The Sherwood has 100w per channel and 400W total. The marantz nr1402 only has 50W per channel and 5 channels so i guess its around... idk 250W? this is confuuuusing hahaha I appreciate the help I really dont want to damage or overload...

Musiland suprised me. I bought a monitor 01 US and updated drivers. BAM! i got full 32 bit API sound bit depth in Windows 7 64 bit! I think the drivers are great now. simple tweaks and just awesome playback! I am very happy with 192Khz 24/32 bit Sound through ANALOG 2.1 great quality DAC!
