i realize that i can just order a replacement of the same cable, but was just coming here to see if anyone has a recommendation of a boutique supplier/manufacturer that has good quality cables/cabling.     i do not however know how to do it myself if i were to buy the wiring.

1. comfort is key, my best headphones are so comfortable i could wear them for hours without even feeling uncomfortable.   2. clarity. i don't want anything lost in the mix   3. wide soundstage. it just gives a sense of wow and elegance compared to something with a narrow soundstage...

well i actually was messaged by the manufacturer of the headphones i use, and they are making circumaural pads and put me on the list so i don't need to mod them or anything :P thanks though everyone.

change in what way? would it over power the bass or decrease the soundstage? because with supra aural i can't wear them for more than about and hour and a half.

how would i go about doing this? would i simply replace the pads or would it be too hard/too much work? thanks everyone :D

how does the sure stack up with the akg k141's? i've used those before and they were moderately good. they didn't however wow me with fidelity and sound reproduction.
