[REVIEW] Aurisonics ASG-2 & 2.5 (with many comparisons)
The IE800 is more balanced in my opinion, with smoother progression from frequency bands to one another. The ASG-2.5 has much crisper vocals and feels more alive and intimate. With the better isolation in the ASG-2.5 and comparable sound quality overall, I prefer the 2.5's. Don't get me wrong...- dqope21

[REVIEW] Aurisonics ASG-2 & 2.5 (with many comparisons)
Yeah I literally got mine yesterday. I think mine are permanently stuck on ear bleeding bass. Do you guys think Aurisonics would replace them for me? Their warranty website is down.- dqope21

[REVIEW] Aurisonics ASG-2 & 2.5 (with many comparisons)
Just got mine. How do the dials work? The left side can turn indefinitely while the right side has trouble turning. I was unable to grip the right side with the screwdriver that came with it. Does turning the dial produce that big of a difference?- dqope21

Sennheiser IE800 IEM's
Anyone have any insight on how these compare to Aurisonics ASG-2's? I'm shopping around right now and am familiar with the IE800 but have never heard the ASG-2. I absolutely love the IE800's sound but the poor isolation got me as I'm always in noisy environments (public transportation).- dqope21

[REVIEW] Aurisonics ASG-2 & 2.5 (with many comparisons)
I've read through several of these comparisons. I'm interested in finding out more about how these compare to the Sennheiser IE800 and Shure SE846 as I'm familiar with both of these top dogs. I really really liked the Sennheisers but returned them recently for their poor fit. I primarily listen...- dqope21

Anyone have a comparison of these to the upper tier ones such as Sennheiser IE800 and Shure SE846? I'm pretty fascinated by these and have tested them but am interested in what others think.- dqope21

Nuforce Primo 8 - an Audiophile Phase Coherent Quad Balanced Armature Driver IEM - Impressions
Alright I just wanted to take my previous statement back about the IE800's. Those things are on another level. The Primo 8 is still very good but sounds much more secluded and limited.- dqope21

Nuforce Primo 8 - an Audiophile Phase Coherent Quad Balanced Armature Driver IEM - Impressions
There's no question that the Primo 8 dominates its price range. I was stunned by its realism, with every sound almost tangible. I think the Shure's were great but not $1000 worthy.- dqope21

Nuforce Primo 8 - an Audiophile Phase Coherent Quad Balanced Armature Driver IEM - Impressions
I just compared these to the Sennheiser IE800 and Shure SE846. Although they lose in clarity by a bit, I prefer the Primo 8's mature sound over the others. These really present the music in a way I've never heard before. Anyone else agree? I'd be interested in hearing more feedback on these.- dqope21

Sennheiser IE800 IEM's
Do you think the Fiio E18 Amp/DAC would do justice with these? I'd rather hold off on spending 300+ for a PMP for now.- dqope21

Sennheiser IE800 IEM's
I'm primarily into trance music. Does anyone have any insight into how these perform on trance? Also, I'm coming as a former owner of the Westone 4 and UE 900 (decided to go to the next tier) and was wondering how these might compare to those?- dqope21

Best IEM for Trance -2014 edition -Now keeping track in the OP!
Anyone into psy-trance? I'm also a huge fan of uplifting trance. Was shopping in the very top tier of universals (600+). Considering the Sennheiser IE 800's. Anyone got any insight on this tier of IEM's?- dqope21

are there any fake UE 900?
I have a similar question. I found a pair of UE 900's for 1800 RMB or about 300 USD in a pretty reputable audio shop in China. My cousin bought all his audio gear there, including a $500 set of headphones with no problems so that place has some credibility to me. The box of the UE 900's is all...- dqope21

Fake UE 900's?
Hey all, I posted this in the UE 900 appreciation thread but I need a response ASAP since I'm leaving China soon. I recently lost my Westone 4's and am on the hunt for a new IEM. I found a pair of UE 900's for about 1800 RMB in Shanghai. That's about 292 USD. The store is also pretty...- dqope21

Ultimate Ears UE 900 Discussion and Impressions Thread
Hey all, I recently lost my Westone 4's and am on the hunt for a new IEM. I found a pair of UE 900's for about 1800 RMB in Shanghai. That's about 292 USD. I'm really tempted to buy them since I'm on vacation in China right now. The store is also pretty legit since my cousin recommended it...- dqope21

Former Westone 4 Owner looking for new IEM in similar price range
I'll check the SM64's out. Is the Logitech UE 900 a good choice? I've heard some good things about it. I'd also like to clarify what I meant. I think the W4's are awesome and the do everything well, but not any particular area exceptionally well. The sound eventually became boring to me and...- dqope21

Former Westone 4 Owner looking for new IEM in similar price range
Thanks for the feedback. Does anyone have experience with the IEM's I mentioned vs the westone 4? I really am looking for a step in another direction from the W4's. The sound really became lackluster after a short time for me and I would like something else.- dqope21

Former Westone 4 Owner looking for new IEM in similar price range
I owned the W4's for about 2 years and just recently lost them sadly :(. Now, I'm on the search for a new set of IEM's in that similar price range. I found the W4's to be very pure but a bit boring. The sound was very balanced but I would prefer something more engaging and exciting this time...- dqope21
