The IE800 is more balanced in my opinion, with smoother progression from frequency bands to one another. The ASG-2.5 has much crisper vocals and feels more alive and intimate. With the better isolation in the ASG-2.5 and comparable sound quality overall, I prefer the 2.5's. Don't get me wrong...

Yeah I literally got mine yesterday. I think mine are permanently stuck on ear bleeding bass. Do you guys think Aurisonics would replace them for me? Their warranty website is down.

Just got mine. How do the dials work? The left side can turn indefinitely while the right side has trouble turning. I was unable to grip the right side with the screwdriver that came with it. Does turning the dial produce that big of a difference? 

Anyone have any insight on how these compare to Aurisonics ASG-2's? I'm shopping around right now and am familiar with the IE800 but have never heard the ASG-2. I absolutely love the IE800's sound but the poor isolation got me as I'm always in noisy environments (public transportation).

I'm really curious how these compare to the Sennheiser IE800 and Shure SE846. I'm trying to shop for an upper tier IEM right now.

I found these to be really smooth but the sibilance at upper frequencies was bothersome.

Anyone have a comparison of these to the upper tier ones such as Sennheiser IE800 and Shure SE846? I'm pretty fascinated by these and have tested them but am interested in what others think.

Alright I just wanted to take my previous statement back about the IE800's. Those things are on another level.    The Primo 8 is still very good but sounds much more secluded and limited.

There's no question that the Primo 8 dominates its price range. I was stunned by its realism, with every sound almost tangible. I think the Shure's were great but not $1000 worthy. 

I just compared these to the Sennheiser IE800 and Shure SE846. Although they lose in clarity by a bit, I prefer the Primo 8's mature sound over the others. These really present the music in a way I've never heard before. Anyone else agree? I'd be interested in hearing more feedback on these.

Do you think the Fiio E18 Amp/DAC would do justice with these? I'd rather hold off on spending 300+ for a PMP for now. 

What do you guys amp/DAC it with? I'm intrigued by these now.
