do yourself and your dad a huge favor and buy the m audio q40's with a fiio e11 amp. the bass is amazing and the sound quality wins too

sigh. some people dont care about their music enough to actually LISTEN to it. if they really were listening to their music, they would surely notice a difference  

do yourself a favor and order the d2000 with the amp. i have no experience with the E6 but ive asked around and ive been told many times that if im getting an amp to make a difference, i should forget it unless im getting a decent one. i didnt want to take the chance

if thats your music preference, i would recommend the 840 100%. ESPECIALLY if you're using it without an amp, no consideration

Try the M-Audio Q40 with the Fiio E11 amp. i literally FEEL the headphone shaking from the bass and it punches my ears. its amazing

im confused. everytime i get someone who calls me an idiot for buying expensive headphones, i let them try mine on and they say "it sounds the same"   i let them try either M-audio Q40 or Klipshc Image s4

im not too impressed with em. i feel you can find cheaper headphones with better quality sound and bass. just not as much bass
