I think he is saying that a great soundstage is "360"...coming from all angles...where the "=====" represents a "fake" soundstage because it only appears to be wider.

Darn you guys. Reading this thread made me order a pair of the 012. I had tried the original PFEs a while ago and enjoyed the clarity, but wanted more bass warmth and impact. We'll see how these turn out. Excited to try!

Also, with the Eternas, there is little microphonics as you place the cords over your ears.

I've only heard the S4 and the Eternas. To me, the Eternas beat out the S4s for impact and warmness while maintaining some amount of detail in the high end. I would suggest the Fischer Eternas. Best headphones I've listened to for ~$80. They will definitely bring the bass.

Curiosity got the best of me so I decided to order a pair of teh CKS70. Currently have the Fischer Eterna which I am loving for the warm and impactful bass. The music just engulfs me and I get lost very easily. Should hopefully be here from AccessoryJack in a week or so.
