Any old fart head-fi'ers still around?
I was never a big poster, and I check in every once in a (long) while, but have been absent for a number of years. It's quite nice to be back on HF again. Seeing old familiar names still around is awesome. Happy belated new year, all :gs1000smile:- nanahachi

Upgrading amp for ER4S
i personally use a Xin SuperMacro v3 with my Etys, and can totally recommend it. There are newer iterations than mine, but I really like mine especially with the 4 switches, esp bass boost (which i didn't think i would even use). good luck in your search- nanahachi

What amps are people using with their GS1000s?
Cary CAD 300-SEI Singlepower Supra Melos Maestro (Mullard PC88 tubes) I have been using each of the three amps, each performing wonderfully with the GS-1000. I have yet to decide on an official favorite, but I tend to use the Cary most because I have it turned on for my speaker listening...- nanahachi

TOYOTA SOLARA 2.2
I have the first generation Solara and love it. I've never ridden in the newer versions, but if you like what you experienced, you should enjoy the car overall. I've always had great reliability with Toyotas, no surprises, and my Solara is fun to drive while having a very roomy back seat. Old...- nanahachi

Anyone going to the Massive Attack show at the Carlu in Toronto?
J, glad you got to go! I saw MA at the Hollywood Bowl 2 weeks ago, was awesome. I wish I had gone all out and bought the super close seats, but it sounded wonderful regardless. I hope we'll both get the chance to see them again before not too long. -

The Melos Modification Thread
wow, some nice pics! speaking of modding, i think i need to swap out my pot. So I have to ask, does anyone have the hex wrench necessary to remove the front knobs? If so, can I ask a huge favor: can i borrow it? I will pay shipping both ways, I just need to adjust/remove my vol knob. I think...- nanahachi
