Shure 440 vs. Creative Aurvana Live?

Got the CAL's in.  Listened to some music and watched a movie with them. Pros - better soundstage and bass than I was expecting cons - Not perfectly sealed.  A little sound does escape and vice versa.  Not a big deal for my needs.   Overall, $70?, yea definitely.

Shure 440 vs. Creative Aurvana Live?

I need them w/ enough isolation so someone could sleep in the same room if they were hooked up to a tv.  Mind you, there will be a fan running on high to drown out very low level noises.  I really don't see either one of those giving me problems in that scenario.

Shure 440 vs. Creative Aurvana Live?

Think I'm down to these 2 choices unless someone throws in secret option number 3.   Looking for something in the $50-$70 range for classic rock, classical, games, movies.  I'm looking for the best bang for the buck. Things that are important to me however: soundstage full rich sound...

1st timer could use some help.

Yea I feel like I'm slowly being worked to a higher budget.  I wish there was a place I could go and listen to some of these models.  What's do you think is the best/easiest way of looking around my area for a store that might carry some of these brands?

Help pick decent headphones for a n00b

Just curious to know. Are there any headphones that can give you the bass you would have w/ 2 12"s or 1 15" in the back of your car? i've never heard expensive headphones before, only like $30 KOSS which have midbass but now lows.

Help pick decent headphones for a n00b

First, let me lay down the ground rules. I'm looking for a good set of headphones that are well-rounded. They will be hooked up to the computer of a Audigy 2 sound card. I plan on playing games and listening to music. A good amount of bass and good soundstaging are high up on the list. May...
