I am making small music center with Raspberry Pi 2 + Fiio E10k. Fiio is nice little DAC/AMP but need volume pot at near 10 to sound loud. What budget AMP buy to have better volume control?   O2 with RCA input, or maybe hybrid Little DOT 1+?

I have ZERO Dac with HDAM Earth. Is worth to buy some external Headphone amplifier to improve sound?   I had it connected to pc by PC-Link, and optical cable.   If I want have better sound buy Lovely Cube is good move?   My Headphone is HD598 and probably I buy Beyerdynamic DT990...
