Tried this combination setup... best for sound. Hugo2 vol blue ( below purple, 2volt rms I believe) -> wa8 3tubes vol 5,5 -> kse1500 with inputpad 0db n limiter off... Improve from hugo2 alone: bass improve alot,more visceral n deep, mid more thick n meaty.. high litte bit more soft, bad...

The default for D7 is db107 1A rated... I upgraded it to DB207 2A rated... Transformers rated 6v n 4a... It divided for two, first preamp tube via diode because it feed dc volt.. second powertube without diode, ac volt... total current powertube + preamptube must be 4a.. It will be wasting if...

This is my best setup using hugo, best dynamic n prat.. Kseamp inputpad: 0db, move two colour up from green(default colour after turn on).. share your impression if you like it..

After heard HPA8c + bakoon 7511mk3 with HD800, never plug my hd800 to hpa8 directly again :p. This combo just wow, never imagine hd800 can sound so stunning beautiful, no harsh, no sibiliance... Mid n vocal so dynamic. :)

I used standard cable ( similar to what you got from printer).. HPA8 use asynchronous mode for usb dac, so the performance will be the same if you change the cable..
