Thanks, guys. Actually I am trying to buy amps for my DT 880 headphones. I just heard that the best match for those cans will be the tube amp. I know A1 is a good choice but I do not want to spend 1000 bucks on that (well, maybe in the future if I get a pair of T1 someday...) I haven't upgraded...

I can spell your name because I am living in København myself at this moment ;) just last week I got myself a DT 880 for my DX 100. It sounds okay. But somebody says that I need to get a tube amp for the DT880 to get a better sq. Do you agree or know where I can get a good tube amp?

I just compared the effect pf using ipc plus fostex hp p1 vs MacBook Pro. Can clearly feel that the se535 is much better driven with the MBP, more juicy and powerful. This could be either due to IPC or the fostex HP P1. 32omh can be driven easily but driven well is another thing I guess?  ...

Thanks. It is good to know. I am using the HD650 copper cable on HD25 i ii. I have had a touch of warm and laid back sound which I like a lot. Never thought about going back to its steel stock cable. Less treble is good for me. What about sound stage then? Any noticeable difference?
