I purchased a D2000 a year ago. Recabled to D5000 cable and installed D5000 wood cups. Essentially a D2k converted to D5k.   Just bought another D2k a couple of weeks ago. Using it as is.   Now I feel like picking up yet another D2k (third one).   I think I'm insane.

Seems like the HM5 pad mod is finally catching up   Glad to see everyone(well most) are still enjoying their S500.   As for me, I mod mine more than actually enjoying music through them

I must say... I'm enjoying the MH1C over my R1 and FXD80.   So far the double flange included with the  R1 works best for on these for me.

I'm now enjoying the stock pads stuffed(similar to how you guys stuff the AKGs) + HM5 on top of it. This is overwhelming. I should pick up a few pairs of S500 and have each of them on different pad configurations.

Man I'm bummed.   Purchased the MH1C listed as expedited international shipping. Next day ebay warned me that the listing is entirely removed, and upon contacting the seller, he gave me a registered airmail tracking(that aint no expedited!).... which is not found in the tracking system so far.
