I've only recently got a new amp actually   but tbh I don't mind the little sizzle they have. Was just curious if they changed sound slightly at like 100+ hours.  

New owner of the T1 here very happy but they seem just a little tiny bit bright but I like it. I have only used them for around 10 hours so far, do they "burn in"? or is it just a myth with the T1?

Ordered a Corda Classic for my HD600/HE500 yesterday as they are on sale atm, I currently use an M Stage amp which is a warm amp and I wanted something more neutral. Anyone heard or use a Corda with the HD600?

Yep the HD600 are keepers for sure, they are an headphone that if you sold you would want back soon enough. Will be interesting when the new amp arrives to see how they improve. I also find with the HD600 they are actually less forgiving than the HE500 when it comes to poorly recorded music too...

Just saw this thread again and I have been using the HE500 all the time since I got them a few months ago and decided to get the HD600's out for the first time in a while and they still make me go "wow". The crystal clear mids just cannot be beaten even by the HE500, especially the upper mids...

Just ordered the OPA627AP from coolbaby11 on Ebay for my M Stage that I am using with my HE-500, I have heard good things about changing the op-amp so I thought I would try it out but what should I really expect to be improved compared to the stock op-amp with the HE-500?

Yes I have Ep 1 & 2 and they are pretty good, not as good as Half Life 2 but they are definitely worth playing if you enjoy Half Life 2. Each Ep lasts for around 5 hours on normal.

Yes, chewy it does have it missing but I am pretty sure they are working on it and will be added soon enough.

I also forgot, there is a mod called Black Mesa which is Half Life 1 remade with the Half Life 2 engine and it's practically identical to Half Life 1 but uses the Source engine of Half Life 2. Check that out.

If it's just sound you're focused on rather than gameplay then yes, I would skip Half Life 1 but definitely give the Bioshock series a try. A few other games to try are Battlefield 3, Max Payne 3,  Dead Space 1 & 2, Alan Wake, Amnesia Dark Descent, Penumbra, Mass Effect series, Hitman Absolution...

I would recommend both, play Half life 1 first then Half life 2. Half Life 1 can be a little frustrating at certain points in the game but it is still worth playing. Half life 2 you MUST play, seriously, it's fantastic and it is still better than most fps games that are released today even...
