Are the "wall wart" style power supplies used to power some amps specifically designed for each particular amp or would you say that a $5 generic power supply that outputs the required voltage/amperage good enough?  

Can't seem to find any reviews of this new amp.  Tempted to upgrade to it (from Asgard) due to an otherwise all-Rega system, but not sure if it's any better.  Plan on using it with my Grado 325is.

I am curious what is considered "hot" when it comes to Asgard. Mine gets finger-burning hot - the volume knob is very hot after about 30 minutes of listening but still can be touched. The bottom and sides, however, can only be touched for an instant or they would would burn my fingers. Is this...
